Same deal at the pug run meet, becoming an all too familiar theme.

RE: Mini engine change meet, May bank holiday. - Poodle - 05-05-2013

Didn't mean that to be aimed at you dude, you turn up to more meets than the rest of the admin put together.

Hopefully not at me either! I shouldn't have left fitting my fmic til a few days before the meet in fairness, I'll pay him a visit in the near future to make up for it

haha you really have got a problem at the moment havent you?

RE: Mini engine change meet, May bank holiday. - Curt - 05-05-2013

He has a point. I mean look at the last few meets, Incarnation for instance. It's not a dig at any one person, just people keep putting their names down for things and not bothering

RE: Mini engine change meet, May bank holiday. - Toms306 - 05-05-2013

What's new? There's always been more names than people at meets, even back in the .net days was no different...

RE: Mini engine change meet, May bank holiday. - Jonny81191 - 05-05-2013

Well the engine is in, just got a few things to finish tomorrow and she'll be running!!

Oh, and here's how to make firewood Big Grin

Dude there really is nothing to you, I can run through one of them first time, hot fuzz style.

RE: Mini engine change meet, May bank holiday. - Jonny81191 - 05-05-2013

I would have, but Carl and Chris weren't holding it enough.

RE: Mini engine change meet, May bank holiday. - Poodle - 05-05-2013

Sure, people putting their names down and not turning up has always happened, and as Curt says; this isn't meant to be aimed at any one person. I'm just concerned the forums rep is going to take a hit this summer, all because a lot of the core team don't seem bothered about making an appearance at meets when they've said they will.

What happens when a meet is organised and all that turn up is three noobs who have never met each other before? It's got to be a fairly good bet they'd lose a lot of faith in the club and probably go away thinking it's not worth it.

You guys know this community is important to me and i'm not just trying to cause arguments. Maybe i'm blowing this out of proportion, but i'm making an issue of this because i think it's a genuine problem.
