How old are you Jay? The big thing for me is the any mods thing. Massive plus point that all I have to do is ring them up to change stuff or even just drop them a pm. I'm sure somewhere some company could do it cheaper but the terms of green light are just what I want and the price is brilliant too!

Sounds really good mate, will give them a go come renewal time. What you're describing with mods and service is exactly why I'm with Brent so that's win.

Im 35Itwasntme my engine has quite a lot of mods done, however on the outside
its pretty std.. all declared and doesn't make a vast difference to my quote as I modded it and
instead of ringing and doing each one at a time I did them all in one hit...

I remember being 23 I had a reault 5 turbo and that cost me a fortune..... from memory
was around £1300......

I'm dead chuffed with them tbh, it seems to me the best set up for insurance I've heard of!

Yeah i spoke to Neil. He phoned me and sounded like a very helpful guy! Answered the phone like a dick as i thought it was one of them sales calls lol.
Had to message him for a possible change. i missed my non fault claim off so dont know if that will make a difference to the quote but unless it goes up above my current premium which i highly doubt, i will still go with them!

Doing the rounds of insurance now, 21 in may so in a tricky position of either wait it out or keep on driving
Getting tired of typing it all out over and over

Also said any track day is £45 a day for track insurance and i havent even got to phone them to add mods. can just PM them and they will update it for me. Now just need to tell admiral to f*ck off!

How old are you? Im 21 3 years ncb and I just agreed to £900 with brentacre mods declared. Yet you have points

RE: Soooooo.... Insurance Renewal Time.... - Niall - 19-03-2013

That's really good, especially considering you're within the M25. What rating is your postcode? Mines an F but I'm paying a similar amount for a modded DT.

Its only a couple of months...wonder if theres any temp insurance you could get until then? As mines dropped loads since being 21 with 4yrs NCB. Like less than £500 fully comp with protected NCB and stuff this year....

RE: Soooooo.... Insurance Renewal Time.... - lolsteve - 19-03-2013

Tried green light, told them I was 21 just for a quote idea came to £780 with mods declared. Current winners

And your paying under £500 for a gti6?
As said what area are you? Im 21 I have 3 years because co op said as a second I get a ncb. But end of year said I have ti be 19 to get it. Sad

RE: Soooooo.... Insurance Renewal Time.... - Niall - 19-03-2013

my postcode is a E rated one. Im shocked my self. He did say that having a company car (which i have 2 years NCB on but i havent used them) made a difference.
