Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - Chris - 29-01-2012

I'll see if its long enough phill, the 406 pipe I've got keeps blowing off and hangs stupidly low.

Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - 4WayDiablo - 29-01-2012

Ok np. Ill send you one of the other 2. Still sealed in their bubble wrap lol

Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - ginge191 - 29-01-2012

Phil - a company can make it up for me with:

1 x 90deg silicone 57-51 reducer
1 x straight alloy coupler
1 x 90deg silicone 51mm bend

you reckon there would be enough room for this?

If so how long are the legs on it and how much do you want for it?

17 cm of 2.25" completely straightness on either side of the 90

I have 3 of the 90's ginge only wants 2 ... 8quid poated to your door?

Might be the photo... but thats a funny looking 90 degrees...

Phillip?
didnt see that there lmao

my pipes are 57mm? am i missing something?

Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - ginge191 - 30-01-2012

im assuming that the 57-51mm is irrelevant which way it goes round??

Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - 4WayDiablo - 30-01-2012

true but why is there another 51mm 90 bend? surely that should be a 57mm no?

Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - ginge191 - 30-01-2012

Im assuming the joiner pipe is 51mm? i shall enquire

Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - 4WayDiablo - 30-01-2012

joiner pipe? so confused? so your going
51mm 90 / 51- 57mm 90
to make the u bend to send it gearboxwards?

yes, and a joiner pipe to join the two 90* together... as 90 + 90 = 180 :geek:

this is the only viable way to create a U bend from turbo at 51mm to piping at 57mm Smile

A 51mm u bend then 51 - 57 adapter then straight pipe?

Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - ginge191 - 30-01-2012

oui!

turbo -> 51mm 90* -> joiner pipe -> 51mm - 57mm 90* -> straight pipe....

Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - 4WayDiablo - 30-01-2012

Or just get 1 x 180 bend 51mm then get a 51 - 57 adapter is what i was trying to say

ohhhhhhhhhhhh i get you! that could make more sense i suppose, saves faffing around, id still need a joined pipe as i cant just pop two pieces of silicone together, right? unless you have some odd 51mm pipe?

edit: 180* 51mm -> joiner pipe -> 51mm - 57mm

Re: FAO Ginge191 - pipes - 4WayDiablo - 30-01-2012

They do solid pipe ones. Stainless 51 to 57. Then i have some 57 straight silicon perfect to join.

The third pic on the first post. The red pieces
