Why would there be? The body is treated. Mine has just ticked over 242K and you'll only find rust in the massive stone chips and places in the bay where water collects.

Your engine cover seems to be missing all its clips lol.

Love those Arcan jacks, I have two. Big Grin

Nah, it's my custom quick-removal system Wink

They are really nice actually - for the price I am absolutely in love with it, especially as it's rated up to 2T, a lot of the other jacks in the market around the same price are only rated up to 1.25/5T which is a little low for my liking, as it would be straining itself especially the 1.25.

RE: My (Scott's) HDi estate. - C2K - 26-02-2013

Just be mindful that it's American, and therefore 1.8 Metric tonnes/1814 kilos. Still sufficient for you, but bear it in mind that the pesky 'merkins are lying to you. Big Grin

My (Scott's) HDi estate. - vlj - 26-02-2013

Ah, that's pretty shit! But to be fair I'd never be lifting anything near that weight, so shouldn't be a problem. How long have you had yours, I've heard that they do last a long time but others say differently.

RE: My (Scott's) HDi estate. - C2K - 26-02-2013

I've had my first one 3 years, only problem i've had is the two rubber rings that form the handle stops (when it's upright) can wear out an fall off, therefore the handle over-extended, the pistons overshot the cam and the handle jammed. I had to make a new piston and piston guide as a result of my hamfistedness putting it back in position. Made some replacement collars at work and pre-empted it with my other one. Other one is two years old.

It's not mine, Scott took my car to Fooby's at the weekend, and left the wrapper as a parting present!
Just too lazy to put it in the bin Sad

RE: HDi estate. - djdommyp - 27-02-2013

Nice estate mate, planning to keep it Oem?

RE: HDi estate. - Scott - 27-02-2013

Oh shit! I'll clear it out for you on Saturday. I left it in there after doing wheelspins in the car park and handbrake turns on trays.

It won't be scrapped! Shh

But cheers buddy Smile

RE: HDi estate. - Eeyore - 28-02-2013

Wish they still made the rear wind deflectors Sad Looks very tidy! Loving the estate rebirth we have seen this year! Im thinking for FCS we should have an estate section to the stand. Just off to one side! Big Grin

RE: HDi estate. - C.A.R. - 28-02-2013

Whilst an estate already looks kinda grandad-spec, adding the wind deflectors has only added to that look, IMO!

Next mod ideas:
