Go for an old amerian beat up car?

The next toy - Jukie88 - 31-01-2013

I want a little class :-P

RE: The next toy - Pete - 31-01-2013

DC2 JDM's are pure car porn to me, So they get my vote! EK9's are equally awesome but cost a fortune!

RE: The next toy - ozonehostile - 31-01-2013

for your budget you could get a lotus elise or vauxhall vx220 turbo. ALOT more fun than any jap stuff

The next toy - Jukie88 - 31-01-2013

I know there are loads of cars I can get for the money I just want something jap and quick :-) also Incan see the vx220 and Elise being steep in insurance as they are in a high group compared to the others lol although I'd probs go for the vx220 :-P, I mean Iay change my
Mind after all the time I have to wait and get. G60 rallye and just have a constant ninet the test of my life who knows

And bearing in mind I've never owned a RWD car so also don't want to crane it into a tree cos I get abit of a heavy right foot

RE: The next toy - ozonehostile - 31-01-2013

i had a lotus elise s1 when i was 20, insured it fully comp for £1100 which aint half bad considering how mind blowingly fast they can go.
insurance is helped by most people who own those kind of cars are enthusiasts so there always looked after and if crashed usually repaired by the owner so theres very little stats on them in the insurance peoples eyes

Can't wait till I can afford something awesome as a second car.

I love pretty much all the cars that have been suggested.

They have so many of them in Australia, see about ten skylines every day just in Perth.
Saw a S15 before and regularly see dc2/5
Insurance and fuel is so cheap here, unfair!

RE: The next toy - Andy - 01-02-2013

Look at maybe a Supra?
Would be difficult to find a good manual one but they are so damn epic.
Huge soft spot!
And they sound porn too!

RE: The next toy - the milkman - 01-02-2013

98 surpa! *grabs tissue box*

The next toy - Jukie88 - 01-02-2013

Was looking at surpass and all the imported ones I've sen are the twin turbo ones and are circa 10k :-( like I said I want to import one because those Japanese kids spend a small fortune on their cars and I would have to worry about modding and tuning as its already been done :-)

RE: The next toy - C.A.R. - 01-02-2013

If you're buying it to have as a fun car and do a few trackdays in then I can't think of much worse than the G60...

It's not a sporty-looking car and hardly track ready either. For the trackdays alone you want something like the DC2 IMO...

The next toy - Jukie88 - 01-02-2013

If you have a proper set up g60 they are an animal :-p I speak from experience :-D but I'd use it purely for shows as they very very rare now and I need the nap out of my system before I buy another

RE: The next toy - the milkman - 01-02-2013

supra!!

The next toy - Jukie88 - 01-02-2013

Supra's are too big and wide as much as I like them I would want to own one

It's all about being built, not bought. Smile

The next toy - Jukie88 - 01-02-2013

Yeah but it so much ballache to get parts in this country and they pat twice as much I'd rather buy something that already been done to my Taste save me a few thousand I'm learning built not bought sucks balls with the Peugeot
