Looks much better after a clean.... Go team Rallye... Big Grin

RE: Matts rallye project - Curt - 07-11-2012

That sucks, if there's still one in Ed's (?) I'll grab it before it goes, in case it's that.

That would now be with Scott if he didn't scrap it

RE: Matts rallye project - Curt - 07-11-2012

I would imagine he did then, oh well, can't help then. Checked all fuses/wires still connected etc?

RE: Matts rallye project - Matt - 07-11-2012

Well over the last week it's just been stopping for a second and starting again, then it stopped completly today so presumed its gone, will take another look tomorrow at fuses.

Also anyone know what fuse it is for the panel on the roof, my interior light, map reader and rcl doesn't work, all bulbs are intact. Guess its a fuse or wiring or something?

RE: Matts rallye project - Matt - 12-11-2012

Who says speeding is all bad?
Went down boundary lane(for anyone local, matchams road.) doing about 80mph hit one of the humps in the road, definatley got air, landed, blower motor starts working again!! Result! Haha

Although I'm still having issues with my door looms, passenger side unlocks all.
Drivers keeps trying to give up home. Going to clean the connections up, and have a fiddle gigity.

RE: Matts rallye project - samass - 12-11-2012

Dude, wanna try the looms from Irene?

RE: Matts rallye project - Matt - 12-11-2012

Can do. It's the looms from my old doors which I had no problem with, I think it might be a dodgy connection or something. I'll give them a cleanup first, if that fails its Irene to the rescue

RE: Matts rallye project - samass - 12-11-2012

Fair. Might be the bit of the looms in the shell then. I haven't scrapped those either yet haha so you can use them to make decent looms if you want
for a blowie, ofc

RE: Matts rallye project - Matt - 12-11-2012

Yeah but it's all the same wiring. Only thing different is the doors? Unless you meant the shell ofbthe doors?

Either way a blowie and I'll come try it all lol

RE: Matts rallye project - samass - 12-11-2012

I mean the bit that connects it to the chassis side of the interior loom. If the wires have snapped off near the connector it'll be a lady garden to fix, but if you cut the wires off my plugs away from the connector, you can resolder them to your loom. Capishe?

typical. Gay.

RE: Matts rallye project - Matt - 12-11-2012

Yeah guess so, will have to have a look on my day off Smile

RE: Matts rallye project - Matt - 17-11-2012

Right

Headed to curts this morning. While he was in te shower I did this

[Image: DB95108C-6371-4AD6-AF29-73AC778FFC20-728...2C28FF.jpg]

Fitted Rallye blanks and a trs towstrap.
Also gave the doors a g3ing and then a polish to see why they would come up like. They are very clean so will be buying some g3 an cutting the whole car, polish and a wax before winter.

Also deposit is paid on a new engine. Need to pick it up but paying for pick up and the engine is proving difficult as I'm really skint. Payday only two weeks away!!

RE: Matts rallye project - Dum-Dum - 17-11-2012

so your rallye now actually has rallye blanks

RE: Matts rallye project - Matt - 17-11-2012

Yes for the first time in my ownership haha

RE: Matts rallye project - 4WayDiablo - 17-11-2012

And the new engine is XUD9TE ...yes? :-)

RE: Matts rallye project - Scott - 17-11-2012

lol Finally!

So do the doors match much better now then? Smile

RE: Matts rallye project - Matt - 17-11-2012

Drivers does. But the passenger one not so much. Me and curt think when it was resorted that it was sprayed directly onto the diablo. It shows though a little. Gunna do it with a mop instead of by hand and see if that makes a difference, of not might stick my old pass door on and mop that as I now that was actually a bianca door

RE: Matts rallye project - samass - 17-11-2012

still looks shit

RE: Matts rallye project - Matt - 17-11-2012
