That is a seriously nice looking front end!

What splitter have you got on? Looks great and fitment looks good too. I've been wondering what would fit a Ph.1

cheers mate the splitter is a mk1 laguna one not the normal one everyone uses think it looks the best for the ph1 bumper

f**k the downpipe...I would be sooo tempted to drash it up the road as you had it in the video Tongue

top work!

RE: Ph1 Estate. engine back in turbo on video :D - ash23 - 01-06-2015

It came very close to ripping the bonnet off and taking it for a spin. But I'm lazy lol I'd have had to jack it back up to do the down pipe Big Grin

I think where the air filter it's now I'm thinking there won't be enough cold air /flow around it now. I was thinking  of some kind of duct /vent but ebay brings loads up has any one got any sujestions on a nice looking ones to do the job?

Was thinking just above the head light?

One way of drying your clothes.

Ash what about the vent that pellow had on his estate, I quite liked that.

Morettes with inner lamp out and air filter stuck out of it Wink Wink

RE: Ph1 Estate. engine back in turbo on video :D - ash23 - 02-06-2015

I have the stock snorkel  thing but that on its own isn't going to give enough  air flow tbh was thinking perhaps one of these to keep it standard looking?

Chris No just NO they look wank on ph1 lol

So I didn't make FCS had family issues that took priority over building the car up / a car shoe. But today I finished it was only a hours work if that to get it done will post some piks later but for now just a quick video with the rest of the exhaust system make and connected

P.s sounds better in person; )

just a few piks of clearances quite tight down there but still enough room for a second turbo I recon.

RE: Ph1 Estate. Gearbox mounted vnt - Ben - 21-06-2015

I'd say the Spa's suit it better, that'd be my choice

RE: Ph1 Estate. Gearbox mounted vnt - Jamieh2013 - 23-06-2015

This car is just awesome!

Nimrods for sure though... What's it go like with the gearbox mounted turbo on?  Smile

RE: Ph1 Estate. Gearbox mounted vnt - Piggy - 23-06-2015

I am going to be fitting a NACA duct in my new bonnet Ash, google them. Pretty cheap and DESIGNED to draw air in Smile

I like the spas!

RE: Ph1 Estate. Gearbox mounted vnt - 7057sam - 24-06-2015

Nimrods FTW

Great project got so much love for this Big Grin

RE: Ph1 Estate. Gearbox mounted vnt - welshpug - 24-06-2015

standard snorkel will be more than enough, another alternative if you haven't abs is to cut a hole under the filter and feed a hose to it from behind the fog lamp aperture.
