me and my dad didn't use a crane, we did used a couple of jacks, to wheel the full front subframe out, our land where we were working was just as soft as grass tbh, you can hire engine hoists for sake of a few quid.

The car is probably light enough to take a Hayabusa lump that weighs half what your engine does, makes the best part of 200bhp and has a 6 speed sequential box.

If that's not enough power then you can supercharge them.
