RE: Ph1 Xud Estate . nimrods on - ash23 - 31-01-2015

well the insurance is up at the end of the month. massively unsure on what its future is. would there be any real interest in this with the manifold a gt22v fitted? or even in breaking it.

I could be interested as it is if you took zx as a part ex Wink might need an estate if picasso is getting scrapped

RE: Ph1 Xud Estate . nimrods on - ash23 - 07-02-2015

Unfortunately if this went i wouldn't fill the space with another xud lol

whats up with the picasso?

Starting issue, mot due and possible turbo failure again. But it's at garage and starting issue fixed Apprently, fresh mot so just turbo to sort now (if it has gone)

Do you still want this hdi box?

RE: Ph1 Xud Estate . nimrods on - ash23 - 28-02-2015

RE: Ph1 Xud Estate. finally getting there..... - ash23 - 10-05-2015

So finally had a day free to have  a cracking at this sorted a few little bits that needed finishing mounted the actuator  etc

Also decided  the inlet on the car would foul the turbo so made a different  one up should work well enough  only got the oil return to sort out now then ill get it thrown on Big Grin

Kinda proof these things can be tuned for cheaps Smile

Looks awesome, good work on the inlet. Smile

RE: Ph1 Xud Estate. finally getting there. ... - ash23 - 11-05-2015

Cheers guys just had some spacers turn up for the nimrods and some yellow stuff pads for the gti6 set up and a rebuild kit for the calipers got to stop better than it is atm Smile

RE: Ph1 Xud Estate. finally getting there. ... - ash23 - 16-05-2015

So got the oil drain done with some copper fittings  etc should work really well and cleared  the battery  to the boot to make space looks like only one pik works?

Not much to do now till its fitted

Fit 6 brake set up and master  cylinder and braided lines
Decide on what clutch to use
tidy a few bits up and bead new cooler pipes.
wrap manifold with heat wrap.
pull out engine degrease engine bay etc
Fit mani and turbo
Refit engine and keep on boosting Smile

RE: Ph1 Xud Estate. engine out :D - ash23 - 24-05-2015

iit should be a good show for estates there's  fair few nice ones on here now Smile

Anyway there was only enough jcb yellow to do the gearbox so the bay went a shade of Hitachi gray I quite like it tbh Big Grin

RE: Ph1 Xud Estate. engine out & bay painted - ash23 - 27-05-2015

thanks zakk Smile

well there is a chance this wont be back together intime for fcs CG have kinda screwed me over. orderd last week and was told the latest it would be with me by is today.well no clutch. phoned them last thing and apparently its not a priority to get it done atm oh Thanks... will be dispatched Friday and here for monday Sad and with events season just started at work thats going to leave me with very limited time to get it back together and dialed in enough to make the drive down.

PS... and body got a new paddle clutch i can get hold of before the weekend? Big Grin

RE: Ph1 Xud Estate. engine back in :D - ash23 - 29-05-2015

Well cg actually  came through  after a little moaning Smile

So that meant the clutch  was  wairing for me when I got back from work  so it would have been rude not to put it back in .
