Easy for me that one, but I have an alfa..

22 tonne jack and a box section frame ftw!

RE: Photography challenge thread - Piggy - 09-08-2014

Haha...yeah there are some cars that would be easy to do...but the 306 isnt so easy, hence why Ive made it 306 specific Wink

Its easier for the 306! Lol might see if I get time to take it out of hiding

RE: Photography challenge thread - Danny2009 - 09-08-2014

How the f*ck can you lift a 306 off all wheels with one trolley jack?

RE: Photography challenge thread - Toms306 - 09-08-2014

Awaits 'my floor pan now has a hole in it' posts...

RE: Photography challenge thread - bashbarnard - 09-08-2014

I have a HUGE bus trolly jack at work but its going to.be difficult to get it under the car. As tom says someones gonna end up breaking something.

RE: Photography challenge thread - Piggy - 09-08-2014

You can use anything to get it off the floor...but the pic must be with just the trolley jack holding the whole car.

Seen it done on loads of other owners clubs/cars....not a 306 yet mind Confused

RE: Photography challenge thread - bashbarnard - 09-08-2014

Well I have a slight advantage. Im not baxk till tuesday though. Put it up on ramp let it down onto the jack maybe

RE: Photography challenge thread - Dum-Dum - 09-08-2014

THe problem is the 306 is pretty well balanced left to right so you'd have to have the jack under the transmission tunnel probably somewhere near the actual gear shifter.

RE: Photography challenge thread - Piggy - 09-08-2014

Well go on then dumdum Wink

RE: Photography challenge thread - toseland - 09-08-2014

RE: Photography challenge thread - Piggy - 09-08-2014

RE: Photography challenge thread - toseland - 09-08-2014

Your 306, no vitara crap, clear off the ground with the use of only a trolley jack. No bricks/blocks etc. Jacked up on one spot with all wheels clear off the ground Smile

RE: Photography challenge thread - WiNgNuTz - 10-08-2014

lmao

For ingenuity, i'd say thats a win, but its down to Piggy for the final ruling! lol

RE: Photography challenge thread - thebluepearl - 10-08-2014

Position the jack correctly and use suitable bearer to spread the load, you'll need axel stands to initially get it up in the air then you can relocate jack to centre of car place in bearer/bearers extend the jack handle so you are away from car have a couple of friends to hand too and gently raise jack until car is free of axel stands grab a quick shot then fire in the stands and get car down ASAP ?

RE: Photography challenge thread - Curt - 10-08-2014

Tbh I think it's a bit of a stupid one... Unless someone has a scrap car laying around I wouldn't recommend it. I'd say either let cully win, or set a more reasonable challenge with less chance of it ending in damage/injury.

Agreed, even I'm not stupid enough to be out there trying it.

RE: Photography challenge thread - Curt - 10-08-2014

So... Are you setting a more reasonable challenge or still outside attempting to balance your car in order to win your own? Tongue

RE: Photography challenge thread - Piggy - 11-08-2014

Im guna be too busy today....I'll do it later this week...

So, your car parked in a ford!

RE: Photography challenge thread - Dum-Dum - 11-08-2014
