Not loving the green so much though :/ Jake's Black PH1 DTuuuurbo. - Jake - 06-11-2012 Well as most have you have seen the car is off the road yet again, with a snapped camshaft.... Searching for a new head at the moment which I have hopefully sorted out, the car is stripped back and the old head is ready to be taken off now but I'm working 14hour shifts tomorrow and Wednesday so will aim to get it back on the road at the weekend! Bloody car, I was hoping to have it RR'd this weekend too! ![]() RE: Jake's Black PH1 DTuuuurbo. - Arron - 06-11-2012 Ah that sucks dude... still its all relatively cheap to fix... xud!! RE: Jake's Black PH1 DTuuuurbo. - Lew_Derv_T - 06-11-2012 looks really nice, speaking as a fellow black ph1 owner i hope to get mine looking as clean as that, will take alot but itl be worthit. keep up the good work RE: Jake's Black PH1 DTuuuurbo. - Dave - 06-11-2012 How did you manage to snap the camshaft?? Not sure how to be honest but I f*cked something up. RE: Jake's Black PH1 DTuuuurbo. - Jake - 25-11-2012 Oh forgot to update, So after weighing up my options with how to fix this, I ended up buying a Re-furbed head Of Ricky (cheers for that Mate ) And set to fitting it, ![]() ![]() ![]() Didn't get any more pictures of getting it back together though, but just slapped a new gasket in and reused my headbolts and is all going fine now. On friday went and took her in for the MOT, Failed..... standard. But the only fails were the rear brakes ( calipers were seized ) and a headlight pointing too low. So after getting some replacement calipers of Lee ( R45 _ODV ) At a bargain price I set to changing them over with new discs and pads. And i'm not surprised they failed on the drivers side there was only 1 brake pad there =\ and both sides were seized solid, all sorted now and booked in for the retest on tuesday.. Advisorys were funny though, Exhaust too loud, suspension excessively low and engine oil leak. RE: Jake's Black PH1 DTuuuurbo. - Ben - 27-11-2012 They didn't give me the suspension advisory, they must like me more RE: Jake's Black PH1 DTuuuurbo. - ozonehostile - 27-11-2012 Just read through this thread. like the look of the car, black phase 1 is so much win ![]() RE: Jake's Black PH1 DTuuuurbo. - Eeyore - 24-04-2013 RIP :/ RE: Jake's Black PH1 DTuuuurbo. - dturbine - 24-04-2013 Love a tidy black ph1!
