Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 24-05-2012 Door solution is in the pipe work, but won't be done for a few months maybe. Did to replace all the rubber seals, and the hot weather has melted my roof lining at the rear of the car ![]() - bodp553 - 28-05-2012 Heya what did you use to pop the rear doors open as I am in progress of smoothing off rear door handles and locks on my sigma(monq) blue 1.4 306 Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 28-05-2012 You can just use soleniods and door poppers. Lol. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Scott - 30-05-2012 Mate that looks much better! Actually looks a little like sigma! I'd definitely keep the same colour centre caps though. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Dum-Dum - 30-05-2012 Looks really good that colour mate. Leave the centers silver though. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 30-05-2012 I like a change, so they will change from time to time. Really hoping we get the steering rack sorted this weekend, Then it's just a list of small jobs I hope. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 31-05-2012 Close up of the wing mirror. ![]() And my weekly change of centre caps. ![]() Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Matt - 31-05-2012 Please put the wheels back to silver ![]() Cars looking good mate Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 31-05-2012 As said I have three sets so can swap when I want. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Fozzy - 31-05-2012 Mark stop pissing about with the centre caps and just get the dish polished. YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE!!!!!! Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 31-05-2012 To much hard work to look after polished rims. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Fozzy - 31-05-2012 less effort than wrapping the centres once a week no? Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 31-05-2012 I doubt it. The centre caps that less than5 mins. Plus as I said before I have three sets. Like the cibie masks too, blends in nicely ![]() Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Connor - 31-05-2012 Wrap looks lush, if only you got rid of those silly wheels... Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - kingy - 31-05-2012 whats up with the wheels? my second favorate them. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Connor - 31-05-2012 They look shite, that's what's wrong ![]() Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - kingy - 31-05-2012 would look better with polish lip imo but thats been said a million times already. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 31-05-2012 Wraptition in Southampton did the wrap. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - darrenjlobb - 31-05-2012 I think it really just needs some more lowering , and a decent clean (IE use tyre shine etc) as wheels just always look out of place, but probs because those wheels belong on superclean slammed cars ![]() The wrap does look good, tbh looks really sigma from that last angle, looks good, thing wheels just need something more, lowering / polished lip or something, not sure what but just dosnt quite work for me Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 01-06-2012 So a phase 1 vts quick steer rack is a straight fit to a phase 1, 306. That was good news. Off the scrappy tomorrow, to get bonnet hinges, and rubber seals. Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 02-06-2012 So the vts quick steer rack is on 2 point something turns lock to lock. Need to get the tracking done on Monday when the garages re open. Bought a full set of rubber seals from the scappy which are much newer and better than the old ones. Forgot to get the exterior ones, but will get them soon. Anyone local to me got a spare lower centre console. The part around the hand brake, I broke mine today. Also fitted a standard a handbrake lever at last. ![]() Re: Mark's smoothed 306 with added extras. - Pompey306mark - 02-06-2012 So got bored waiting for some parts so started shooting. A bit of singing company in the workshop. ![]() Blue centre caps, and before anyone moans the silver ones will be back on for FCS.
