had a read thru the full thread, what a nightmere to see the car end the way it did! i couldnt believe that the bmw and cyclist done one!
hope your sorted out soon with a new shell, maybe worth looking at a cheep 3 door dturbo for its shell? you have the donor car for the full works.

Yeah I couldn't believe it either, but such is life.

Nah I'm not gonna get another model shell, as the insurance'll be more expensive with an engine change...

Great day lads, good seeing you all as usual!

The pigeon thing was hilarious! Fooby was being a grumpy fucker for the majority of the day (unfortunately I think it's his time of the month) and when found out it had been recorded he took my phone and deleted the video. Sadly it hadn't synced with dropbox in time so that part of the video is missing. However needless to say if we find dead animals in future those will be put in/around/on fooby to make another video.

Massive thanks to Scott Kim Matt Laura Curt Katie Fooby for coming down and generally being complete legends helping with the disassembly of the 6. Particular thanks to Niall & Grant though, who prettymuch did an engine removal before I even got back from dropping the car trailer back at work!!!

Really great work guys!

Most of the stuff is now stripped, so to the breakers thread if you want any parts it is!!! Smile

Now i've had a chance to drag the photos I took off my phone, here they are!

I'm a little surprised Ed, but at least we know we weren't being paranoid in thinking it! At least it's back in the batxave now and is safe.
