306 Addiction:
No. 1. Blue, 4 door straight Diesel bought at auction whilst trying to chase down A Citroen ZX.
No 2. Diablo Red, 3 door TD, S Reg, 220,000 miles Gearbox Failure sold to French Autoparts. Wish I had kept it and rebuilt.
No 3. China blue, 3 door HDI, 197,000 Gear box failure - Keeping and rebuilding with my brother.
No. 4. Black 3, door HDI, 137.000. First day to day of driving her. Loads of mods, I did none of them, I don't know even what the words mean. But I will learn:
Engine mods
Full LongLlife exhaust from front manifold downwards.
Full Front Mounted Intercool (FMIC) installation performed by Kris B (www.krisb.co.uk)
Sachs sports road clutch rated up to 280lb/ft - installed in March 2012.
406 Coupe HDi fuel pump upgrade
1800 bar fuel pressure sensor upgrade
Stage 2 ECU remap producing over 155bhp.
Suspension mods
FK Racing height-adjustable coilover suspension fitted in November 2012 - currently dropped to max 90mm at front, with torsion bar correctly lowered the proper way to 80mm at rear.
Set of four matching Peugeot 307 Challenger alloy wheels with removable centre caps in 6.5J width fitted with the more expensive and slimmer 205/40/17 tyres.
