No. Need wings if you want to swap the bump strips and not have to glue them on
And if you don't get new wings you need to file the holes for ph2/3 side repeaters

You dont need the wings. Trust ne I have dine the conversion recently. You will need to adjust the chassis a little with a hammer on the bit between the headlight and indicator.
