"Carl and Jonny" is C.gerrard and Jonny81191
This was supposed to be unveiled at PPCITP without anyone knowing, but we've decided to put up a project thread and let you all know what we're up to!
The reason for the new account is so that we can both update the project thread.
We started with a standard blaze 3dr MOT failure, picked up for £300 from blackburn. It was on 180,000 miles, standard lucas and k14, not too bad condition really, but there were a few issues. Such as after being ragged up and down Carl's drive, it would run without the key and all the dashboard lights on!

So we stalled it and ripped all the interior out
Then the engine in Carl's sigma packed up, so we simply replaced his with the one in the blaze, fitted his bosch and T2 and put the "spare" engine in the shed ready to rebuild.

We then built a massive shed to prep and spray the shell in, the colour will be revealed later on

Once under cover, we removed the doors, all the glass, the fuel tank and.. Well everything really! We haven't seen a 306 this stripped out

Then we rolled it onto it's side to strip the underside and repair the couple of rusty bits on the chassis rails.

As it stands, that's where we're up to at the moment.
The plans are to fully prep it for track use, with the emphasis on hillclimbing. We also want to keep it as light as possible, preferably sub 900kgs.
Engine wise, we're going to need to look into the rules and regs, as fun as it would be to bolt on a huge blower and make silly power, we don't want to end up competing against cars which would make us very uncompetitive. But we do have a TD04, and a GT2052, just in case
