Actually its really not a bad price if your a student (£149 i think) but you can also buy elements for less than £70 which is good for basic photoshop
ive got an awesome version whcih i downloaded and its about 60MB! Its CS5 and ive been using it for a few years now with no problems!
Think il just buy it on pay day i dont download torrent lol
There's a free alternative called GIMP. It's open source and has pretty much all of the features from Photoshop that you'd use anyway.
