Ok this has happened for the third time now it just decides not to start for as it seems no reason first time it fixed itself the second time it was the brown relay behind the Ecu just gave it a wiggle got up for work didn't start no biggie I thought il wiggle the relay nope nothing still won't start should I bother replacing it ?? Or set fire to the car in anger ??
check the connections on it mate......
How do I get it off to check ?? Ecu and the black box thing behind it is in the way so's the fuel cut off switch do I just unbolt it all ?? Although the black box behind the Ecu isn't actually attached any more lol that shouldn't matter should it ?? Wires are still intact
sound like the problem am having driving me crazy
Have u tried the brown relay behind the Ecu it's slightly to the right ??
Check my thread on this, covers pretty much all the bases, at least the ones known to this forum and it's members.
I can't find it :-( link please :-)
Cheers pal

Right how do I get ye relay off I e taken the split pin out and pulled the red plastic bar but it won't budge ad I don't want to snap it also, do Peugeot technicians have the hands of children cos I'm finding it hard as fook to get my hands in behind the Ecu!!!! :-(
Hahaha yeah, assembled out of the car I should think. I just took the whole lot out tbh, worth it for the sake of five minutes.
So remove Ecu out the way and just pull the brown relay ??
Yeah remove the ecu, bracket, etc, makes it easier to inspect the plug too.
Cool will have a bash at that on my next day off :-)
Ok question :-) in the 1.6 306 the relay which is an issue in my hdi is black can I still use it to replace the brown one ??
I doubt it very much.
Oops double post, delete please.
If I try it will It short anything ??
Might do, who knows.
I wouldn't risk it......
Ass well I'm gunna take it off today to see I it's charred at all thn I'll order a new one from pug
Ok due to it being - 100000000 it's too cold and I have no patience vw to sort this any more so it's goin to Peugeot to fix and replace all dodgy parts after Xmas :-)
