Right guys I know it's just over 6 months away but I reckon we need to start getting this organised soon before all the saxo owners start filling up camp sites.
I've found a camp site nice and close but I'm not sure how much it is a night. Anyone else know of any near by? Especially you guys that live up that way!

Seconded. Ive seen a couple that are dead local and have massive fields so we can camp well away from all the holiday makers.

I agree though, this does need sorting fairly quickly IMO
This definatley needs to be sorted, before the camp sites get wind off the show and hike the prices up
I dont think they will if theres camping on site at rockingham. I think well be one of the few clubs that dosent camp on site.

I don't know about you mate but if you go to Rockingham you will be mainly on your own as the show is at Donny this year

ive found a camp site you might be interested in. gate at the top of the campsite that leads straight into the race track and is used for the download festivel. ive rang up and got some prices.
1/2 man tent is £10 per night + £3 per person per night.
3/4 man tent is £16 per night + £3 per person per night.
5/8 man tent is £22 per night + £3 per person per night.
camper vans is £16 per night.
you can have hook up for extra £10.
for a extra £10 you can leave you stuff and tent up untill sunday night.
toilets on site as well.

Sounds sweet, 3/4 man tent it is, do you have to pay for cars? Might sleep in the car haha
Not too bad, though you might be able to work on a group discount and play them off against other campsites once we have some more accurate numbers
well im from derby so if your interested i could look into it a little more and see what kind of discounts we can get ( if any) but i didnt think that was to bad tbh.

You can normally get discounts for big groups.

trouble is i would proberbly need to know how many people are going so i could haggle a discount. when i spoke to the women i said between 30 and 40.
hopefully its not far off but i can ring other camp sites and play them off againts each other. but to be truthfull i think that site would be ideal. but she doesnt need to know that.
i only live 3 miles from the track so i could look at all other alternatives if you wanted me to. just trying to do my bit for the club. :clap:

Personally Id go to one a little further away as i dont even want to hear the saxo owning chavs.

just been to have a look at the camp site and imo its bob on. its far away enough not to here the sax chavs and only a 2 minute drive to the track. its a hotel as well witch means it got a place where you can eat and a bar. its just off the main road and is really easy to find. if loads of people are interested then we will get some kind of discount.
