The goverment are saying unemployment has fallen. But there more lies yet again due to the fact. The Work programme that people go on after 6 months you are not classed as unemployed.

Also alot of people are in tempory work or part time. The ones on the work programme are still unemployed just not counted as there not with the job centre but a provider. Basicly in other words there hiding the real big unemployment figures and how serious things really are.

haha you only just clicked? . . they've been doing shit like this for donkeys . .lol
This type of cover has been around for decades; the way 'unemplyed' becomes classified changes and adapts to satisfy statistics and promote this country.

Starting with, as you state, part time employment; very unpredicatable, little sustainability yet under the almighty government professionals classifies as employed.
Also, the reason for the proposed rise in compulsary education? Well think where the biggest unemployment is; young males; keep them in education for that extra 2 years, the unemployment rate then decreases as they're "still in education"

If you find this interesting, consider looking into the classification of poverty and how they change the boundries to create 'less poverished' areas...

lol that's the one, hence the ' ____ ' <-- as couldn't think of the word Rolleyes
Oh my god, thanks for telling me, I'd never have guessed our government might lie to us....

They lie about far worse things dude, WMDs, expenses, transferring power to Europe, the behaviour of the military in northern Ireland Sad
or they blatantly fix it so the 1% gets a tax break..........while the pensioner's and disabled get money taken from them.......
Theres another surprise, Tories taking care of the rich...
Also noticed they're are a lot of these 'job-share' things going on, whereby one full-time position becomes 2 part-time positions. Not really a sustainable income for either party but it's one less 'unemployed' person on the books.
always a fiddle whoever is in charge........
LOL theres also loads of people who state "freelance", "singer songwriters" or "actors" as their occupation that I class as unemployed
Not suprised in the slightest
The fact that this time of year employers tale on Christmas TEMPS is probably a factor too.
