I think they were R1 carbs and the hole must be for better bwarps

The hole...we have no idea but it needs covering incase of stones flicking up etc

can't wait to drive it am bit wary as I'm so anal about my car and it makes all sorts of different whilstly noises that weren't there before and runs lumps as hell for first few minutesand I actually turned it off out side my house the other day as was too loud! Graham had his skyline running at the same time and could see us getting told off!

cheap filters might restrict air flow on a set up like that though?
Are they cheap? Not looked yet
Cheap filters will let suck up small children so can't see it restricting airflow. If anything will aid it but like said will let through larger amounts of dust/dirt/children compared to a more expensive filter
