Full Version: saxo lowering springs on 306?

i know there the same size and fit. but do they work ok? heard mixed stories about them. seen a few 306's with them on and not heard of any trouble.

but had people telling me the springs rates are diffrent and they hit the bump stops etc.

I had Saxo springs, no trouble for looks. Ride quality is shocking though
Cheap 306 springs are like £50 brand new. It's a bit of a no brainer really...
As you said, the spring rates are wrong. Being for a much lighter car it's not recommended. Also bear in mind it will drop a lot more
how low where the springs susposed to be? and i assume on a 306 it was lower? lol
Depends of you like driving or just cruising! Even the I wouldn't recommend them completely wrong for a 306, people might have had them with no issues but I wouldn't
I had 40mm Saxo springs on mine and was lowered at least 80mm....
Don't bother. Just get the cheap ebay jobbies.. They're actually really good for the money!

I have 40mm spax springs you are welcome to have, but they are attached to s16 struts!! If you come get em you can have the lot
that's a point, i have a set for sale too!
