Cheers bud. The 6 looks like its getting there :p
Best way would be to order one up from a specialist, that's fairly serious money though.

Easier way is to make an adapter plate for a gt17.

Its getting there slowly Smile should be lowered and the gaz's on next weekend with the comps on to Wink
Sam the comps look epic.

She's still running at the minute. The front suspension is a serious concern now tho. Need a passenger bearing. Got a 40-80 video

Is that about right for stage 2? As I'm sure the mafs been dicky again.. also might try squeeze my car onto rs tuning rollers if possible this Saturday... can't really afford to but I don't trust the last set of rollers I went to!!

Arron
Carnt see the video?
My bad!
Looks quite slow to me on the vid but not sure tbh as i always think it looks slower on a video that what it feels like in real life
About 9 seconds 40 - 80 in 4th. Needs 3rd gear for that really but I've found why it was a bit down on power.

What causing it to be down on power??
Hard to compare where most people do 30-70, does look a mite slow imo.

Was it the maf in the end?
One of the lower pipes on the fuel filter was unclipped and loose, seems to be fine for now.

Id say 9 seconds 40-80 in 4th isnt too bad anyway, turbos only starting to come in at 50mph, 40mph in 4th on an HDi box your slightly off boost. 50-90 in 4th would be a few seconds quicker
I think the time has come to move on from the 306

Im willing to listen to offers for the car. It runs fine, used daily, ive just changed all the cv boots and aux belt, the thread details the amount of work thats gone in, if anyones genuinely intrested in the car as a whole feel free to PM me what you think its worth or arrange to come see it and ill go into more detail, actually i feel the car deserves to be viewed, however if it doesnt sell it will be broken mid to late july
It you break ill get dibs on MC and wheels Smile
How much for the whole car Aaron got someone looking for a nice hdi
Karl if I break I'd only sell brakes complete.
Didn't want MC anyway Rolleyes

Haha am bin sarci
Hello folk

Well its been a long time with work..been a daddy. Just no time for this.

The past 4 month has been standard issue for 306 ownership. The front tires have been replaced... Ive had a boost leak that I never really noticed and now more notibly p0230 trouble... but it passed its mot on monday.

Not much has changed re modding. I am running an inlinefilter with 8mm thick piping as oppose to 5mm stock under bonnet. Im still using the stock fuel housing although its empty.

In 2nd and definitely in 3rd gear Full throttle it will cut around 3200rpm. Ive put this down to either injectors or in tank pump. Am I on the right track there?

Ive also done a few lil cosmetic mods. Rear 3 windows tinted by expression

Ive also put a larger oval oem tip on the zorst kindly donated by tony

clutch seems to be holding the torque well still... still nice and light with no sign of slippage...

So yea.. any advice re p0230 would be appreciated although Im sure I know what I need to do... if anyone in yorkshire has pp tho id pay for a live diag..

Arron
Is the inline filter able to flow enough? Lose the stock filter housing for starters, it's dead weight and is just another few joins to leak.

Odd that it's only in second and third, is usually worse in higher gears if it's down to fuel pressure.
Hi bud

the reason I kept it is the one way valve on the lid of the stock filter housing. Id need a after market one way valve. All the clips are jubbys now so hopefully theres no chance of leaks

because its so random its hard to pin it on something or work out if somethings made a difference better or worse. The past week its definitely got worse but a few days after I fit the inline filter I opened her up on a few bypasses into 3 figures with no issues.

but then say the fuel lights on... i can be going along part throttle and the ecu light will come on and it cuts out... starts straight back up... to me thats the lift pump...?

I will resolve this

When its not throwing a paddy it pulls like a train
does it still cut out if the tank is full?
Yeah, what Jonny said...
Its cut out on full throttle with half a tank of diesel

Just a few pics of the little changes that have occurred. Ive got some injectors lined up for the weekend from a 307 and im considering a new lift pump at some point. Is the 1.6 fprs worth doing before upgrading to an r70 pump?

lso what are peoples thoughts on these. Messaged the guy but all I got was 'they are amg injectors my car run 161bhp'. Required a little more detail for my liking....
Not sure im a fan of the headrests. 1.6FRPS will require a remap to work
Sure will. But do I ideally need the r70 first?

And whats your take on the injectors?
IMO if he knows enough about the injectors to be selling them he should be better able to answer your questions.

also 161bhp is f*ck all, standard injectors will do much better than that.
My thoughts exactly... im sure to do the nozzles isnt a cheap job and hes asking £20 an injector.... the price hes asking is making me weary...

asked him if he was on any forums and thats the only reply I got.. think il pass on them
Bet you any money those injectors are from the that red modified hdi that was on eBay forever
