right guys, can someone please right me a guide to fitting footwell leds?
had a go, put the switch on the steering column, wired em up to the cigarette lighter, now they dont work, also my stereo has stopped turning off when i turn ignition off so thinking ive done something with a permanent live. which i dont know how as i assume the stereo is completely seperate to the cigarette lighter.
please help =[
I wired mine in to the interior light in the front, then ran a cable down the A pillar and into the footwells. Simples.
The way wingnutz said should work well
and you probably blown a fuse when wiring? or there are 2 slots for the stereo fuse one makes it perm. live the other on/off with ignition
Which hole is the one that ain't perm mate?
I will have a go wingnutz thanks
Not sure but it will be the same place there are 2 positions for it either top and middle or bottom and middle i think try the other one from what youve got
If you need me to check which wires ive piggy backed from, let me know and ill go check. There are 4 cables running to the interior light, but you only need the live and the ground to run your lights. What you got anyway, neon or led?
Sorted the cd out. Nice one mate. Bloody love this forum lol
Lol no worries

How?
little button next to "find" at the bottom of the relevant post.
little green plus icon in it....
Ah I'm on my phone so I can't.
And they're LEDs mate. Got green as painting callipers green too lol
Thats a poor excuse!
No worries, glad you got leds, neons are just so last decade!
Ive got all white in mine, nice and generic. Had blue ones in my old China blue 306, looked really good, but would have looked poop in a red car!
Think silver an green will look good.
Lol I'll do it when I'm on my laptop :p

Been considering some of these to light up the blue carpets but not sure to get white or blue ones ?
If u want it to show off a blue carpet I'd go for white. Blue makes everything blue haha kinda defeats the object
thats what i was thinking
