So I know this is a 306 forum blah blah but I thought I would ask anyways.
my mums vw sharan is having a brake problem, the light keeps flashing on and off every few minutes. Brake fluid levels are fine with no obvious leaks.
am I missing something obvious here or what?

cheers
Is it brake pad wear sensors maybe?
I did wonder that will have a look, cheers
how old is the sharan ??
It is the pad warning light or is it the handbrake light flashing on?
You can get creams for vag problems from the chemist you know?
If it has pad wear sensors, check the wiring to them for broken/damaged wiring.
as said before check the pads if they are low, if they have loads on them (more than 6-10mm) then the hand brake switch or wiring may be at fault. pad wear sensor lights are normally orange (warning) but the hand brake/low fluid level light is red (danger)
If it's a case of blue waffle she really needs to get to the doctors ASAP as it's not only mentally disturbing but also quite smelly I've heard.

Failing that ABS sensors tend to come off on the Sharan quite easily so I'd have a fiddle...With the ABS sensors, not the blue waffle.
Yeah, I'd head straight to the gynocologist if I were you buddy, these things are best left to the experts.
im an amatuer gyno, want me to take a look?
