Right, We all know they sound awesome and everyone wants one so whos interested in a GTi6 De-Cat pipe.

The ones im looking at are Stainless Steel and a direct fit but youll probably want a fitting kit with new bolts and gasket from Peugeot (I could do a group buy on these if people are interested). Theyer from a company Ive used before and have always been very helpful. They retail at £105 plus £10 p&p. Id hope to be able to get it for £100 posted or less but the more people who order the more leaverage i suspect Ill be able to have on the price.

Oh just to add these arent road legal so are for "track days only" *nudge nudge wink wink*

Actually I might be able to sort out straight through center sections too if people are interested in those as well.

I wont be ordering till after the 20th August to give people (myself included) time to sort out money.

List for De-Cats - add if your interested in anything else.

1, Dum-Dum - also interested in fitting kit and center section.

No this is one of my many ways of helping club members out.

If I wanted to tell people Id bought a 6 Id post a "shiny new 6" thread

But then if you have not bought a 6, why are you buying a decat for one?

Lolz

Tbh I don't understand why people spend 100 quid on these. If you go to longlife, they can do one fitted for £60.
Or just make a pipe out of an old piece of pipe and weld it in for free!

He is going to take it around with him and fit it on the bus before he gets on.
So does anyone else want to add their names
Just skirted over the fact that your buying a decat for a 6 dum.... Sure you haven't bought one? Or a wallye? ninja

Yeah look at the "problem I had". It went better....until it filled up with gallons of engine oil....

These are a rip off really. £60 from longlife (probably the same from Powerflow) and thats made and fitted with a life time warranty. I know what I'm doing when I decat mine!

Is that for a proper straight swap for the cat jobbie?

My MOT is in a few weeks so there is potential for 12 months of win!
Yeah mate it is. People don't realise how cheap these places can be. I'd rather pay 40 less for it to be fitted for me and have it fitted properly.

Depends what the place is like though, I've been back twice with my Longlife system and it's only been on about 14 months. Wouldn't go back to that place again but at least if you have a rough idea of prices I should be able to find another local fabricators to knock something up.
Out of interest what size is the pipe? Eli's pipe is a 3"
I paid £70 fitted for mine, drive in drive out service.

The pipe lasted for 2 years + and was still in decent nick when I broke the motor. Stupid lady gardens welded the lambda boss pointing down though so the lows ripped the sensor in half over speedbumps.

3" is a bit big...! that's like 500hp turbo territory!
Surly it's only a 3" back box exit? As it has a cat on it? They don't make 3" cats for the pug
IIRC it's 2.25" for the standard exhaust, some people inc the LBSC boys run 2.5" systems
IIRC the standard 6pipe is 2 1/4 bore, low boosters go to 2 1/2 I think... my memory isnt great, and its been a while since I had anything like enough money in the bank to contemplate boosting again lol!
Is there an echo in here?
no
*finger hovers over delete post*
Might need one of these, I'm gunna check tomorrow if my Decat is a smashed out one or a weld in pipe jobbie
