Apologies this is pretty last minute but I've been fairly useless about getting round to posting anything.

So, basically it does what it says on the tin. Beaulieu Motor Museum in the New Forest are doing a 'Simply French' day on Sun 8th July. They also do days for Japanese cars, American cars, 4x4s and so on but this is the first year they're doing one for french cars.

Here's the link:
http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/beaulieu-event...ply-french

Ticket prices are £10 but only if you turn up in a french car. That gets you access to all of Beaulieu (Museum, Bond exhibition, Top Gear cars and the house and gardens).

Entrance is from 9:30.

You can't book spaces so if a few people are up for going I suggest meeting in one of the car parks in the forest and going in together so the club can park together.
I saw this the other day but was doubtful as to what it would be like. Have you been before?
This is actually quite tempting
ooo i think i fancy this too!

Bout time Ben!

As said Before I'm up for this, I'll see if work will let me off Smile
would any one else be coming from the london area? convo up?
Beaulieu is a good day out for a car enthusiast definatly
Trouble is if you bring someone who isn't they will see a few cars and think they look OK then get bored haha
They have made things a little better there recently though

Not far for me so I'll maybe come along
Is it just people with french cars allowed?
I'd go but it's a fair old trek from the midlands and don't think I'd be able to manage the distance with my health issues at the moment Sad oh and there is camping in the New Forrest too

Down, yeah maybe!
you knew what i meant Itwasntme

but yea convoy down there then Tongue
might be up for it. depends on money/time. as per lol
I'd be down for this, only up the road.
I haven't been to Beaulieu for years but Alex and I have been meaning to go for ages so it seemed like a good excuse.

It looks like people without french cars would have to pay full price (£20) and go in the normal entrance when it opens at 10.

Haha I've only just worked out who you are...
Yeah I haven't been for years so will be a good excuse to look around some pretty epic cars.
i havnet been in years! may have to see if im free!
I may be up for this Smile haven't been for years
I have t been - ever!!!

I feel so deprived now as it seems everyone else has sob sob
I'm game, new forrest camp session anyone?
I'd be up for this but I'm in the west country when it's on!
We should try tie it in with the annual pug run in the forest
Epic roads then a BBQ at the end :-)
Camping sounds like a good plan Smile

You can camp on site at Beaulieu for £7 per night (again, only if you're in a french car). It does say limited facilities (no showers) but I assume they'll have loos and they don't specify no BBQs.

Alternatively there is Roundhill campsite which is just down the road.

It's a good-sized site between Brockenhurst and Beaulieu. There are showers and loos and you can have BBQs. It works out as £9 per night for the Saturday night based on one pitch with 2 people. Depending what people want to do I can have a look into a group booking.
Is there hairdryer facilities?
Right me and Fiona are coming (actually convinced her to come to a meet). Do we buy tickets on the gate?

gigidy! i have a strange picture in my mind and Donkey is there too!
^^^ lmao

Be interesting to meet the nutter who puts up with Niall on a daily basis.

AFAIK it's tickets on the gate only, Charli's going to call them tomorrow to find out if we can take the banner. Booked the Sunday off work yesterday, so we're definitely going even if no-one else is lol. Well up for a rag through the forest beforehand, do that Saturday afternoon after we set up camping maybe. I don't know what time i'll be working 'til on Saturday yet, but there's no reason people can't meet up without us and we'll join later.
I should be booking this tomorrow Wink
She puts up with me!? Other way round more like!
Anyway she's not coming now. Work f*cked her over and swapped her days round so has Saturday off and Sunday working. Ah well
I'll camp Saturday night if a few people do.
Ah bugger. I'm working 'til half two on Saturday, so won't be in the forest before 4. If people want to go for a drive earlier i can still recommend a couple of routes to follow though.
