That 106 has been about for years. Last I heard a few years ago, it was running 410bhp.....in a 800kg car.
Was a video of it around Nuremberg spanking everything till it lost a gear linkage.

Think it was a cammed high boost turbo 16v TU. epic if you ask me!
Cherry's 'nana yellow GTI is almost as mad, last I heard he was running 350bhp and it was completely stripped. External wastegate and screamer pipe poking out the front bumper too. Absolute beast.. when it works.

Why can nobody believe how fast it is? its effectively an empty crisp packet with 400bhp, doesn't take a degree in maths to figure out that its going to be pretty damn fast! When comparing it to skylines and the like it has 100 BHP more and weights like half as much as a stock R34..............

the thing that surpised me is seeing a 106 wound up like that. as i didnt know you could that sort of thing with the 106s.

What the down pointing jobbie or the can over the screamer pipe in the front bumper?
That was because they set the db meters off earlier in the day and were black flagged and thrown off the track
Me and Dave watched it on track later on (like half 4) and when he came back in the exhaust mod was blue from the heat and the screamer had melted the can off the end of it
Oh and his brakes were smoking...........
