Supposedly on site camping is available but I don't know what the crack is for us lot!
Woop. Bit annoyed its now about another hour drive for me though lol Its not tooo far though, any more north/west and id be contemplating if it was worth it. About camping, I also heard they have on-site stuff. Just depends though, Id rather not camp on site if its going to be like fecking USC was, hundreds of drunk chavs wandering round til 4am shouting and throwing beer cans about etc. If its going to be a knobhead-fest id rather find somewhere just down the road, the drive there in the morning was pretty fun last year! Smile
47 mile - 56 mins for me Big Grin

Hm that sucks. Its to far anyway for us Cornwall boys, and that's just made it even further Sad

Its going to need to persuade us to be a decent show to get us there me thinks!
132 miles for me Sad ah well. Definitely camping this year!

I have to agree with you on that, the camping is where its at. Although duno if Im up for an all french car show anymore. Been there done that too many years now.
Darren Google maps says donnington is actually a shorter drive for you lot (both in distance and time)

Dan I can see how thats a bit of a mission for you mate but then everything is a mission from norfolk.

Has anyone found anything on their web site about camping cos i cant see it. Personally id quite like our own club camping again and not have any knob heads near by. A good nights sleep is important for me as im getting old.

According to google maps Darren its half an hour less travelling...........

St Austell to Rockingham - 299 mi, 5 hours 16 mins

St Austell to Donnington - 276 mi, 4 hours 46 mins

As for on site camping DumDum - from facebook "Mark Dow - Yes camping at Donington"
Theres a few camp sites nearby that look alright at around the £10 a night mark if people dont want to camp on site at donny
it's closer than the Christmas meet! Big Grin only 290 miles!
Dum-Dum Wrote:Theres a few camp sites nearby that look alright at around the £10 a night mark if people dont want to camp on site at donny

Yeah, I think that's going to be a better plan as otherwise I can see us spending most of the night killing chavs revving saxos, lol

 whistle
Tempting idea Dan, DERV's in a line all facing same way and 1....2.....3.........go!
I think we should wait till after christmas before we start organising camping.

Yeah its maybe a bit soon but also might be an idea to agree a price and book somewhere before they all get wise to the show happening and put their prices up?!
Yeah it's closer this year Darren!

Either 4 hours if I've finished uni by then, or only 50 mins if I'm still at uni Big Grin

Term finishes on the 15th, but it'll depend on my exam timetable Smile
I can start looking at local campsites if you want?
So close to me I can hear cars on track from my house so pretty sure I could find something Smile
NiallHarper Wrote:Try and keep up with me you mean? :o

Hmmmm hopefully by then I should be running properly again Wink
