I think i was talking to Scott about this a couple of Ace's ago...

Does anyone have any experience with it?
What are the results like?
Does it last well on wheels or similar?

Cheers
Me and ginge were talking about it on ace cafe night
From what i gather its actually quite smart
Its well wearing quite customisable and comes in different colours
We were watching a vid of a dude doing it on his 370z
Looks easy enough to do and remove if it goes tits up
This is the video i have just watched.... Im quite keen to be fair...
Yeah I was actually thinking about going some trims in it just too see the finish
Ill buy some then and we can have a pop with it.
Whats the worst that can happen... lol
Careful saying that mate, Niall might drop his car of its stands again lol
looks good but i wouldnt have thought you could use it at the front of youe car due to stone chips.
Probably better plastidip taking the brunt of a stone chip rather than your paintwork :-P
this is true. i think i would be tempted to peel it all off if it started peeling, ya know like glue on your hand at school. or was that just me. Big Grin
Full car spray in this? Tongue

Would make a cool full front bonnet bra tbh
Hmmm, looks like funky stuff...

With you on this though, bet you can't leave a scab alone either..?
BUMP.

I have a can of this stuff now, I'm going to be giving it a go! Did anyone else try it or have any good results?
Pics?
What are you spraying? Had enough of your dirty black car?

Tongue
I want to try it, the UK supplier is just outside of portsmouth.

Not sure what to paint though, I was going to try the roofliner but that's done now.

Plasti-dipped spoiler on the right Smile
I was thinking of doing this but I think I'm just going to matt/satin black all my black trim and spoiler with proper paint
Fair play Smile I'll give it a go and see how long it lasts. Apparently it survives jet washing and brake dust and you can actually use it for wheels. Unfortunately they don't have the colour I want otherwise I'd be doing a very cheap wheel refurb soon lol

Might do this tomorrow night when I get in!
Yeah I've seen it looks pretty durable to be fair, I'll see how you get on Wink hehe
I want my car white.
ive used this on my 350z and 2 sets of alloys for the Mrs and her brother:

Oo any chance of some pics of the alloys with the plastidip?
erm, the only shot i can find at the moment is this:

note how masking up is not essential! Smile
They don't look too bad! Going to have a look for some more pics to see how smooth the finish is, I might just do that instead of a proper refurb.
