So after driving to bluewater to drop my sister off I noticed that I didn't do the best job on the tracking so I decided to get it done
Overall it doesn't look to bad only thing is the rear end seems I may have put the beam on a tad squiff

hyper finally after waiting for what seem forever my Peter T cam has turned up. Getting them from customs was a nightmare. So next job is to pull the engine back out and fit the beauty plus a new belt and auto tension pulley because mines making a bit of a racket.
Also today some shiney bits turned up :-)
Some nice carbon wing mirror covers. I also have two A4 carbon sheets to cover the holes in the boot just behind the arches to smarten it up.
Soon as it warm............ Ish I will get on the case

So its time to fit these
Also I have a new headunit.
Car week begins......
First up I binned my old headunit and replaced it with a new one. Removed airbag ecu, cut my lower glove box so i can open it and tightened up the dash. Tried fitting a tinted sunstrip but gave up because it kept bubbling up.......so I binned it
An eventful day i'll had. First the car decided not to start in the morning at first I thought it may be the battery but it wasn't it was something to do with my fuel pump and relay. Changed this and it was fine.
Next I started taking the front end apart
While I was at it i cleaned all the road grime and oil off the front of the engine and salt off the engine bay.
I noticed that I had a slight leak on the driver side brake hose. Seeing as it had soaked in the paint and started to lift I took a gander and their was a bit of surface rust so..........I attacked it
Tomorrow I will do some painting and sort my zorst out.

So thanks to the s**t weather things have been slow but on the plus side the engine bays nice and clean
Also the cams are finally sorted.
I have to say to everyone that guesstimates when they advance their cams they are VERY VERY BRAVE doing it without a dti tool. Mental how easy it is f**k these engines.Smart bit of kit
Have to give paul13 and Antoney off the 205gti forum a massive thank you for helping me out witj the engine. Now to finish the rest of the car :-)

Soon as i get it on a rolling road i'll let you know.
The cams are standard regrinds by peter t in aus. Basiclly i have more lift a duration so I should gain some bhp main thing will be the gain in torque and the screaming lol it has also been advanced 0.95mm to tdc so 1mm when the belts bed in.
