Hi everyone

Having had quite a few 306's in the past, none of which seem to be on the road anymore, I have recently picked up a non running Black GTi6 with no history, that was in need of a lot of TLC. I took the manifold out and replaced the starter and new gasket, and now she starts. I have also bought and started to replace dozens of OEM parts where she had been Max Power'd by a previous owner; she's starting to look more OEM. However the oil is pretty dark and the exhaust is filthy, amongst other signs of neglect, so I want to put her in for a service somewhere, and also wouldn't mind someone giving her a good once over on the ramps to see what else needs doing. The clutch feels terrible and judders a lot reversing up a slope; I know that could be a sign of a couple of different issues, but would like someone with experience of a GTi6 to see.

Anyway, I live in Kingston, Surrey, and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a decent Peugeot Specialist that would do a proper job without being insanely expensive? I'm happy to drive within Greater London or just outside for the right garage. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.[Image: vPbseav.jpg]

Welcome to the club. From the pictures you posted the car looks quite tidy.

I'm afraid I can't recommend anyone in your immediate vicinity. If you can face driving up to Norfolk Carl Chambers comes very highly recommended. As I understand it there isn't much he doesn't know about 306's, particularly the spicy ones!
