Hello all !

I have a problem with the heaters flap... the ouside one (engine bay) doesn’t close, the inside one is closed.
I have no heat inside, can this be the issue ? Anyway to test it ?
I have the smell of hot colant inside of the car, I'll change the matrix also.

PS: i have the dash out

Thanks !
I believe they are cable operated. Has someone tugged on the cables and disconnected them?
The outside flap is recirculate - that's moved by a small motor.

Do you have semi climate or is it fully manual? If climate, the heat flaps are also driven by motors. If manual it is just a simple cable operation as above.

So if the outside flap is only recirculate, this means that I should have heat inside right ?

I have auto AC and recirculate so I believe that's semi, the only cables that I have is from the directional of the vents, I can see the motors at least on from the inside flap.

Can this be the motor it self ? It's possible to find one good motor for this ?

Thank you both for the replies
