Seems a few of us are having to do clutches these days.  I have to do another myself soon.  Knowing that Motaquip parts are pretty decent I took a punt on this one from eBay.

Opened the box to find a Valeo clutch inside.  Really can't complain for £45.  Thought I'd give you all a heads up in case anyone else is looking for one.

Should have said ….fits 2.0l petrol models.
Would've been great a week and a half ago Wink Got mine for £114 :/
Yea, that's a shame.  It was you doing yours that prompted me to think about getting on with mine and the clutch was only delivered last week.  It's not for my daily driver but the one that's garaged up and slowly being given a fair bit of TLC.  It had quite bad clutch judder before I took it off the road.  Am guessing the clutch has been contaminated with oil from somewhere.

You can find Valeo stuff packaged up under a few other names such as Quintin Hazell & Motaquip.

I'll keep that in mind in case I ever need to do another one thanks mate!
It isn't guaranteed but decent aftermarket names don't (in my experience so far) put utter s**t in their boxes.
