you know roughly how much for both? I know you said may change waiting on powder coaters just an idea if I can afford both now or next month
Top brace will be around 100, lower is about £65, (or 50 for a bare one).

Tried it on a '6 today, slight technical issue, touches the cam cover where the breathers are, doh!
sounds good to me will have 1 of both in white when they're refined/ miss the cam cover, would offer the services of my car for testnig but little bit far away!
Will these fit a dt with a xantia manifold?
No. Get away with yer dirty diesel! Big Grin

There's too much in the way to a proper brace for those, it'd have to be something that loops around the front, there may, or may not, be a version for those, Jenks is thinking about it Big Grin
get one made for the superior fuelled vehicles you twat! Tongue
I did.
Hi, i'm wanting a stut brace for my (sshhh) Hdi, i'm liking what i'm seeing but will it fit my dirty diesel Hdi!
Please say yes no problem...
read through the thread pretty sure they did but not a finished item as they are yet to fit over the cam belt cover on a gti6, I think? any advance on this Ripp?
need some stiffness added to my car!
It may on HDI, I'd have to have one up here to check, it won't fit Dtubs with xantia inlets though, there's no fooking room without making a shit one like the OMP/E-techs. I'll have to make a seperate one for those and it may involve some welding work to fit....
I'm def. up for one of these if it fits, let us know if it does Ripp i want to be first in the queue, gettin' the sleepin' bag and flask out now!ThumbsUp

They fit fine over the cambelt cover, but at the minute they just catch on the rocker cover breather outlet on the '6, needs a little tweaking.
Ah yeah knew it was something, get tweaking! :p
Hi Ripp, hows the tweeking going, been perfect tweeking weather recently and we're all gagging for a picture of the finished item.
The only thing I've done since the last post is swear at Dturbo owners wanting strut braces when they've fitted stupid manifolds....Big Grin
will a 406 manifold fit if a xantia doesnt work Tongue
There's a nice way to do it, but it involves a little bit of modification to the shell - I'm not too sure Dtub owners will want that.

I may offer them as a drive in/drive out service, rather than post them out.
My carbon fibre one is sat curing Big Grin

looks nice that jenks. are you making these?
Gonna have to tweak the design a fair bit to get it on other diesel models tbh I think.
Nope this is one of ripps ones currently being tested. Il let Phillip fill the page with swearing and anti derv jibberish before he explains what he has done here
I found out why I don't like diesels is what I did. Bloody pipes every fookin where.

That one actually clamps up to the bulkhead to triangulate the whole thing, just had to squeeze the tube oval to clear the bonnet prop on Jenk's Ph1, might change that, will see.
