Does anyone have a guide for changing the VSS Sensor on a GTI-6?
not sure why you need a guide to remove one plug and undo one bolt.
jack up car and put on axal stands look for vss, its on the diff housing. then with a 10mm spanner undo the boult and follow the cabel to the plug and unplug it then remove the vss and put the new one in asap as you will loose some oil.
Thanks Guys I didn't think it would be that simple it looks like it has a shield around it when I looked from the top.
