Hi All,

Photobucket changed their terms of service on the 28th of June which now means you cant hotlink to your own images from 3rd party sites. As a result many threads including my own (and my signature) now dont work. In order to make it work you need to sign up for a premium service which costs $399 per year!

It has long been recommended that you use the forum photo uploader (which isnt amazing) in order to make the site run faster and also to avoid any issues like this! Ill be going through my threads and reuploading all the pictures. let this serve as a warning for anyone joining the site and thinking the bucket is the way forwards!

Ah feck
ffffs
They've been utterly, utterly SHITE for the last few years.

Won't let you view any pictures if you're using adblockers, obscenely slow, generally twattish stuff they do. Many better alternatives, needed sacking off long ago IMHO! Nails in the coffin for them!
FlickR ftw.
Yeah they are crap... if anyone is looking for an alternative imgur is pretty good... obviously always have the potential of this re-occurring though
my sig still here?

ahhhh sweet Big Grin
All my photos are still showing. The $399 is for 500GB storage....I'm using the free 2GB service (4% used so far).

i think not Big Grin
I think this is a good thing. Hopefully it will mean more people use the forum uploader and the forum will be faster for those browsing using mobile internet.

With a bit of luck it might also spur the admin onto bringing back the multi upload button on the photos.
Weird... Mine are all still there
Anyone thinking "My images are showing"

They're probably not, it's more than likely they're just cached on your computer.
You can see them, no-one else can.

This.

The service has been terrible for years, for them to turn round and then ask $400 a year to keep going??
Are they insane??
As above.
Been full of malware and redirecting to "your phone is infected!" shite for ages.
Won't work on P.C if you have adblocker.

Verdict. Shit, have been for ages.
Can someone go on my project page for the bmw and tell me if the pics are still working?

Yea but if image hosting is required for your business to run you should probably be paying for it.
