Yeh torque is good however you will find that only the hdi has a compatible I've port. The earlier engines don't use the now common standard.
yep, pre 2005 compatability on diesel OBD stuff is very hit and miss, its 2002 for petrol engines.

even then, with most manufacturers you will not get anywhere near as much detail as you would with the manufacturers own proprietary software (e.g Lexia, PP2000, diagbox etc) all you will get is a code, no further detail on the probably fault.
Also this app has been out for many years, like 7 or 8 years at least.
Tunerpro RT is always a good shout.

I like DashCommand better. But it's a bit heavier on resources.

I have made a WiFi dongle that I can attach to my (aftermarket) ECU that talks to all these "OBD" compatible apps. It basically converts the proprietary ECU protocols to ELM327 by impersonating a OBD dongle. In theory it can be extended with more input modules so even supporting the OEM ECU's.
