afternoon guys, has been a while since i posted!

still got me the 1.8 and shes going strong, though shes feeling a little sorry for herself at the moment!

my AC compressor has had it and looking to remove it rather than replace (it never worked properly anyways)

can any one confirm if thisĀ http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132186596195?_...EBIDX%3AIT will fit my 1.8 16v model?

got a few other bits i need to sort like the heater blower motor coming on automatically after hitting a bump in the road... any suggestions? lol
thats for an xu10, xu7 is alloy block with a different bracket.
thanks mate, dont suppose you know of anything that would fit the XU7??
the brackets are totally different on the non ac system, pas pump is mounted at the bottom, steel sump as well.

best bet is to see what the belt run looks like if its possible to simply straight line instead of going round the ac pump, use the original sprung tensioner and get a short belt.
awesome thanks mate, annoying as I'd rather not have the AC system there (leaking quite badly) and cant tell whether its the pipes or compressor
99% going to be the pipes.
thats gonna cost me an arm and a leg then!
cheaper than a compressor!
AC is awesome though.

This^^

Most the time it's the condenser and when replacing that the bottom pipe breaks because of the salt corrosion tripped in the P clips that hold them to the car.
I recently fixed my AC, you don't know what is broken until you have it pressure tested.

My condenser and pump were leaking, surprisingly the pipes were not.
