Hello guys n gals

After reading much of what the forum has to offer i have come to the conclusion the MAF on my bus has bit the dust.

(I thought the 2.0L HDI was naturally painfully slow so was initially looking to remap) once unplugged she is a sprightly little engine Smile ... still want a S'1 map Wink

So i have read the pro's and cons of the MAF delete and running simply unplugged which doesn't appear to be of my taste.
New MAF it is then!

Looking at the current Siemens VDO fitted it is coded 5WK9621 - Genuine is obviously the way forward here so my question is, is this the right model/code for a 306 2000 plate 2.0l HDI?
Several sites list it with a Z on the end of the code!? any difference in their readings?
And finally is their a worthy upgrade since i am buying new? (Plans are... atm... Stage 1 only  whistle )

So a 50mile round trip to take it back and their replacement isn't a siemens!!

Finnaly sorted a new one today though after they made a dirty comment back saying is this the old one off my car!
Eurocarparts.... not impressed
This is a really common thing to happen apprently. someone buys the part. returns it in store. no one checks it goes back into stock and sold again. ive actually had it happen to me a few times!!!
Get a lot of already opened boxes from ECP, but always check the parts are actually new before leaving the shop.
