I know the hatchback zx is the same beam as a 306 but does anyone know wether the Citroen zx estate avantage is also the same?

yep, will need a rebuild and lowering

Well it's to put on a 95 sedan that has a standard knackered beam and the other beam will be off for a refurb [emoji6]
