13-06-2016, 07:09 PM

13-06-2016, 07:37 PM

13-06-2016, 10:06 PM
Tis an evo indeed, as above the 2.0 330bhp model with a few tweaks, but yes only 5 gears, one word... animal.
Isnt many things that pulls away or keeps up with it. Tax is extortionate though.....

Yes not many options, but id prefer manual on this car without a doubt, auto would spoil the drive a bit.
Haha re racing dum dum, would say its quicker than pretty much any other car on this forum.

You have seen some of the cars on this forum right?
pretty sure a few of the high boost charged 6's would give it a good run

Thats why I didnt say all the cars on this forum Matt
14-06-2016, 12:06 PM
Tbh you've just quoted yourself saying almost exactly that...
14-06-2016, 12:13 PM
Didnt say 'all' though......
15-06-2016, 11:27 AM
any refers to all in random order!
"most" "some" would have implied your intended meaning.

'Pretty much any' doesnt mean all though, it means 99%.
15-06-2016, 01:31 PM
I am sure there are more than 1% of the cars on this forum that could destroy that evo..
Chris Lapit's mental boost turbo '6
Niall's old '6
any of the supercharged low boost '6 on here
Toms VNTed ZX
Stef's 205
most of the Renault megan RS that pansies drive
Atterz' old saab.
Dumdum's Gaybaru, almost definitely his cummins monster if he finishes it.
Hell even mine might give it a run for its money on a good day..
should I go on?

You do realise this thing is 400bhp with 4wd?!
15-06-2016, 01:40 PM
you do realise that that makes no difference considering its probably 650kg heavier than any 6 wet weight with driver and passanger and as standard (with all trim), nearly 700kg heavier than most HDIs in standard trim with a full tank of fuel?
the Gross Vehicle Weight rating is 2060kg with passengers, fluids and luggage... that says a lot.
200bhp per tonne...
I am at 160ish in my HDi... so yeah go figure

Lets put it this way... id like to see most of the cars do a 4 second 0-60!
Here you go the Evo 400: 3.8 sec to 60, 1540kg weight (with a 6 only 300kg less with less than half the bhp and 2wd!)
http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/car-reviews...09-review/
Only really high boost 6's and Chris's turbo 6 that would have a chance of keeping up (and id like to see them get the grip down off the line to do a 3.8 0-60.... as they couldn't!) and considering there aren't that many of them on this forum, I stand by my 1%. Been in it when hes left a 350 bhp 2010 focus rs for dead.....

quick acceleration is as much about gearing and drive ratio's as it is about pure power and weight..
My Suzuki vitara had 100bhp.. but in low ratio it would lift a front wheel and hit 60 in about 6 seconds.
