So I'm sat in the car in a gloomy garage, turn the lights on to see the rev needle.
Finish looking at stuff, take key out, lights still on.
Turned lights off and was sure the odometer was still on.
Checked again and yes my odometer display activates when the headlights are turned on. Key NOT in.
Sound right? I'm sure it never used to do that
Yeah lights off key out the mileage illuminates.

Lights on*
my van illuminates the miles when I open the door. as well as when ign on.
Focus illuminates the mileage as soon as it's unlocked and then for about half an hour after locking, ideal way to drain the battery. lol

My barge does pretty much the same thing. Not sure why it needs to stay on so long after locking though. Confused
