Hi,
What sort of prices would you pay for a radiator?
I've seen a Nissens rad for £150 is that how much they go for?
Have you checked which lower rad hose you've got? One of the rads is cheaper than the other but I can't remember which now, helpful I know!
Yep, it's the one with the wire clip.
I'd get a new lower hose as well, allot rust and the seals go hard, Rads I would say thats allot but not bought one for a while
I bought my last nissens for £40 iirc swear they are only £80 new?!

Yeah that's what I thought.
I paid a shade over 100 for my nissens from GSF
£197.89 from GSF, 40% off today today but no ones got one in stock.
Why are they so expensive now? We're all expensive when we we were looking for one for rowells Rallye a few months back as well.
I've found ones for the 2.0 16v cheap (£30) but they don't have the third connection that are on the back of the expansion part.
Does anyone know if any other cars share the same rad as this?

Sourced a rad local to me. I thought the said it was a Nissens but it's turned out to be an NRF.
It has a copper core so that should help with the heat dissipation.
The black paint coating on the core isn't great and you can see the copper in a few places. I'm worried these exposed copper areas will start corroding.
Is it worth going over the rad with the VHT paint?
After reading the stuff in the link below I think I might return the copper rad and go for an ally one.
Very interesting read.

That's good then.
I've got a Nissens one inc bottom hose for sale for 60 posted
