About 3 years ago I went to visit my God - daughter in germany and she took me for a day out to Boblingen Flugfeld near Stuttgart.
It is a great day out for anybody who loves old cars and beer Smile

Im sure this was on car sos
There's a few places like this in Germany. I know of one that used to be a huge, indoor turntable for locomotives that has been converted in this way and is full of classic cars, some being stored and some for sale. It also has small specialist workshops there doing things like seat retrimming etc.
That sounds good Retro - any idea where ?
Technik museums at Sinsheim and Speyer also worth a look maxaret, one of them has an ex-Air France Concorde and Tu-144 on the roof as well as tonnes of old cars good mix of European and American and a very bizarre display of chainsaws but each to their own... Haven't been in 10 years but would love to again

It's this place:

http://www.remise.de/

It isn't quite large enough for a full day out, however a Sunday afternoon checking out a range of classics: anything from lancia delta integrales to old supercars with a coffee/beer from the cafe is a nice afternoon for a couple of hours.

I have not been to the one in Berlin, only Düsseldorf a few times.

Thanks Retro - we will try and visit a few at some time Smile
