the daily as developed a few problems
aux belt tentioner screaming to which i cant budge the bolts
cambelt is over due
and I've smoked the clutch!
due to this I've made a decision to sorn the car tonight
being the last day of the month so I get maximum tax back as its taxed till November
Mot is till late June
I just don't think its cost effective to put any more money into this car
so do i sell whole or break for parts that's the next question
RIP battered Pug you've been fun

Probably easiest to sell as a whole working car as there is f*ck all money in breaking early 2000s Peugeots.
Do you want to buy a working HDi engine and clutch?
repair it! or sell cheap to me i need a daily haha
give you scrap value for it
HDi cambelts don't break through age so I wouldn't worry about that...
Clutch is easy and costs sub £100 with the oil and bushes.
Why can't you get aux bolts out? Just too tight or rounded?
Tbh, it's low tax and 3 door, other than GTis surely the most desirable 306 to most people? I'd fix and sell it tbh. It's not worth anything as spares or in parts nowadays!

cambelt was well over due when i bought it 18 months ago
yes clutch is easy but not layed on your back struggling
bolts must be corroded in as ive broken tools trying to remove them if they break its an engine out to drill them to remove
may be desirable low tax but with 150Kmiles and the work off sets that
give me £350 and drive it away!
£400 with complete SKF aux belt kit and tensioners
I've done several 306 clutches now, there's hardly any back laying, worst part is the 11mm nuts on the driveshaft that take ages. Other than it it's all fairly accessible from the top or sitting lol.
Would have given £200 max for it if I was local... Gotta be worth ~£700 fixed though unless prices have dropped off now?
posted an hour before april fools.... so.... guess not april fools...
no way is it worth £700 fixed remember i wrapped it round a post
and sadly not an April fools

You would never get £350 for that with the work needing to be done.
It's worth £35 scrap
Break or fix.
If you hadn't of been a hero in it I would of taken it on Cully.
But I got enough "hero-spec" cars already.
price posted on the cyclones with tyres...
Oh I forgot the dent.
How's the beam??
