So guys, I have replaced my injectors for 076 ones. Now I have injector rattle still (I know it wasn't a sure fire fix) I also have a much louder rattle when I lift off the accelerator.

For example going up a steady hill I will have a light/medium injector rattle and then when I let off a shot sudden burst of rattle. Definitly from the engine bay but possibly not from the injectors I'm not sure.

Next Im just wondering what stock boost these should be running? I'm hearing 14psi so far?

Any ideas fellas? I'm planning on getting it on a dyno soon to see what it pulls as I don't believe it'd pushing out the 125hp that pro - steve mapped it to.
I had trouble pulling away from a 90hp 1.6hdi the other day so something doesn't seem right.

What do you guys reckon??

1.6 hdi is 110hp

Depends which car the 1.6hdi is in...

It came in 90bhp guise in many cars too

can only find the 307 listing the 1.6/90 hdi

Yeah the 307, fiesta, ds3, anything smallish iirc maybe even the 206 1.6 had a 90?

I've always had the rattle on my 2.0 hdi. I know it's the injectors as it stops completely over 3k revs or so when the pre ignition stops. Not sure if it's same on yours but it's common on mine. Just got used to it now as it runs fine.

Sounds exactly like knackered injectors.

Probably is. I must have bought a set that were as knackered as the set in it. Wondering if anything else can effect how well the injectors work

Tuned stage? Mine sounded like a bunch of tap dancers under the boner.. silent as a whistle now prosteve has worked his magic

Mine has a prosteve stage 1 map on it :/
