Well had lots trouble with the crappy chocolate BMW engine changing million sensor turned out to be just throttle body
So collecting bits up for a 1uz lexus v8 engine bomb proof engine with better power
how it started
New rotas
1uz engine
Adapter plate
Just collecting parts at the moment
Will keep an eye on this. Out of interest are you just swapping out the engine and keeping the box, shafts diff etc.. or swapping it all out?
Will be using BMW box they cheap and pretty strong also means less work no custom prop mounts shifter etc.
Most people use supra box to make 1uz a manual would went that route if wasn't a BMW I was putting it in adapter kit cheaper
Engine and adapter should be here this week
You keeping the stock open diff then? or is it being welded and used as a drift car etc.. or is it staying on the road
Well its already welded up its my other half's drift car lol. It will be use on road also to get to local track
not a BMW man my self I was ready to burn it trying to find the electrical fault [ANGRY FACE]
These 1UZ's sound f--king nuts with straight throughs. Definitely the way to go on a budget! Just a shame the gearbox conversion plates are a bit of a ball ache and then obviously the normal bits - mounts, loom etc.
Fair play!
Tell me about it got a video of the engine running mmmm
There is a company that do a fly and adapter everything needed to fit to 1uz. I'm not worried about wire just fitting exhausts in there lol
I have a 200sx just like u and the bm drifting was a nightmare to that sore on the arms
Yeah fault finding these can be interesting, having a copy of INPA makes it a lot easier though. Obviously irrelevant now though! lol
Thanks dum dum [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
Had some drift fun today cracking time lol
Phuckin oops lol, where were u when it went?

You can get adapter plates on ebay not very cheap 200+ or there is Facebook 1uz pages there is guys on there do them also not cheap lol. The flywheel the dear bit we got this flywheel adapter and a very rare to find soarar sump (that we now don't need 😕
for 1200 [ASTONISHED FACE] flywheel alone is 1300 new
Anyway we done a 9hour round trip got lots parts
keeping it cool😎
we were so lucky guy made this to fit standard ls400 mounts but now he is putting a turbo on his and is no good so straight swap for my cross member save me lots work just need hockey pucks for mounts lol
again not good the the guy because his change plan
standard exhaust vs new one is funny
drivers manifold modified to clear steering rack
little brake upgrade r32 brakes so light vs cast s14 ones
So now she is skint haha
