The front suspension spring snapped. It's gone on my spare 306 hdi.

I was looking at front springs what brands of makes good to go for and the best prices of course?

What's the best way to take the shock off take ball joint off and plastic role bars?

Thanks
eibachs.

undo the pinch nut on the hub. take off one end of the drop link. Smash the hub down but be careful not to pull it out so far that the driveshafts come out of the gearbox. Then undo the top mount from the top of the chassis.

Then you need spring compressors. Then you need to remove the top mount.... the reverse of removal...

Sachs are decent and easily available. Don't need to undo the lower balljoint, the shock will come out without it, it's just a bit more of a struggle. Make sure your brake hose and abs wires aren't tangled before trying to get it out, it's quite easy to get them caught in the moment.
the passenger is an alien??  or just been eating tooooo many greens...

could someone post up the exploded view of the front struts and components please, I have no idea how to do that?
