While fitting my fan I thought I'd finally get the radiator pipe I bought from Piggy in 2013 fitted. It seems I bought the wrong one, with the 2 clips and the collar to lock them.

Does anyone have a pic of the other type so I can make sure it will fit my radiator? As the previous piping won't stay on now and keeps nearly slipping off after each journey.

It is the radiator without the separate expansion take.

Is this the other type?

both types

Thanks. Hopefully mine is the left one, now just need to find somewhere with one.

EDIT: Are XUD and HDI ones different? Because my current pipe is in 2 different pieces, so I don't know it's a half of one and half of the other.
I've never had a HDI bottom hose off, but as far as I can tell on SB they use a normal push on hose, where the XUD can use either of the push IN and o-ring hoses, earlier ones used the black plastic bti later ones the metal with the wire clip.
My ph2 had the metal type, and ph1 had plastic type
I'm thinking this will be the one I need: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Peugeo...93f&000531

And some more antifreeze as I've wasted the last I had now.
New pipe doesn't fit :/

Have a feeling it may be a HDi rad which would explain why the current pipe is 2 pieces joined together.
Yup it's a HDI rad IIRC as the DT donor one had an extra outlet we didn't have anything to blank it with. Hence having to join the HDI & DT.

Thanks for the reply, cleared that mystery up.

The DT rad had an extra outlet?
heat exchanger one? also probably the bleed pipe from the thermostat housing
so just to confirm...

which rad are you using??
We fitted an XUD into a HDI shell, using the HDI rad due to the XUD rad having outlets that we weren't able to blank, so joined the XUD lower hose from the block to the lower HDI hose.

This was what 3.5yrs ago so I'm going by memory..
ahh fair enough.

so you need a hdi pipe to cut in half it seems cheezy
